Dr. Stephen Dansiger
Dr. Stephen Dansiger is a Marriage and Family Therapist with more than two decades of professional experience in psychotherapy, education, clinical training and recovery treatment. Spanning across an impressive landscape, his professional experience includes working with pre-K through university levels, serving as a nationally respected recovery and cultural advocate, professional alliances with corporations and lending his clinical and training expertise to both government agencies and top tier treatment centers. In addition, his more than 30 year career as a professional musician and writer naturally generates an extraordinary alliance when working with clients from the creative community.
Dr. Dansiger specializes in substance and behavioral addictions, trauma, PTSD, Complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, and anger management. He is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Certified Therapist, and provides professional training, supervision, education, leadership, coaching and private therapy across a diverse spectrum of population groups. In addition to his professional work with outside agencies and treatment centers, Dr. Dansiger also maintains a successful private therapy practice in Beverly Hills and in Northeast Los Angeles.
As a writer, Steve was a regular contributor to both Word, (one of the first online literary magazines), and Details, and is currently working on multiple book projects, including a memoir. As a musician, he played his first show at CBGB at age 16, has toured both nationally and internationally and been featured on multiple recordings. "Dr. Steve" is also regularly featured on the multi-million download "WTF with Marc Maron" podcast, helping his host process both his own problems, as well as those of his listeners.
A practicing Zen Buddhist for over 25 years, (including a year-long residency at a Zen monastery), Steve is a meditation teacher, currently in training with Noah Levine at Against the Stream and teaching regularly at their Los Angeles centers, as well as with his online and pop-up sangha, DharmaSpring.
Dr. Don Grant

Dr. Don Grant (EIC) is a Media Psychologist, author and nationally recognized expert in addiction and wellness. He received his B.A. with honors from the University of Michigan, an MFA from the University of Southern California and both his MA and PhD with honors from Fielding Graduate University. In addition to his certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor, Don is also a Board Certified California teacher and a Nationally Certified Group Facilitator.
In 2002, Don created and implemented the Literacy in Treatment program, which offers adult clients in recovery the opportunity to earn their high school diploma. On weekends he works with at-risk teens and young adults. Don is the co-founder of a recovery program he created and developed to treat millennial technology addiction and its co-occurring disorders. In addition to his work with StartAgain, Don provides professional consulting, writing and branding services to the mental health and addiction recovery community. From 2001 through 2014 he worked in dual-diagnosis residential treatment, serving for the last three years as Executive Director of a program for women which he also created.
Don's writing, editing and production experience extends across all media platforms, including film, television and traditional literary. His media credits as an expert recovery professional include: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Good Morning San Diego, Fox News Networks, The Michael Jackson Radio Show, The Associated Press, Extra!, National College Radio, The Australian Radio Network, the TV Guide Network, KTLA, John Wells Productions and other local, national and international news and radio programs. Don's print interview and author credits include: The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Hollywood Reporter, Forbes, Us and People magazine. Academic publications include The Sage Encyclopedia of Media In 2012, Don was the recipient of an international "Best of Show" prize for his addiction recovery research work. His most recent research study explored the potential influence of social media platforms on addiction recovery efficacy.
Don is the father of two fantastic daughters, whom he considers both the loves of his life, as well as his greatest extravagances.
